These are our cats!

HaroldHarold - Special Breeds, 1 to 5 years, Short hair, male
Harold is quite the character, at only a year and a half old! He is like a cat version of Spiderman, running and leaping everywhere he can! He is part Siamese and part Snowshoe which may explain some of his unique traits. He always craves attention and your company, and he's 100% ready to play whenever you are! If you are ready for this high energy fellow, let us know - He's probably somewhere flying around the back of the shelter!
SnookySnooky - Black, 5 to 10 years, Long hair, male
Snooky is 7 1/2 years old and looking for his forever home! A handsome gentleman, this beautiful black boy boasts a laid-back personality and a love of snoozing in the sun, as well as an amazing singing voice! Snooky is always happy to chat you up any time, and if you give him a pet down his soft fur here and there, then he starts purring and just won't stop. Snooky has a mild skin condition that is easily treated with one pill a day hidden in his wet food, just ask us about it for more info!
BrodieBrodie - Grey, 1 to 5 years, Long hair, male
In the urban dictionary's definition, Brodie means "The Man", a really caring, loyal friend who is good looking and active. Brodie is from a hoarders house with 60+ cats, and while initially he was on the nervous and shy side, after being in foster for a year he has totally come out of his shell and thinks he is the ruler of the kingdom now! He absolutely loves all forms of attention, from petting and scratching to gently patting his back, and he'll even tolerate being picked up once in a while! Give Brodie a chance and take him home, won't you? This handsome fellow is 2 and a half years old and is microchipped.
Gaston (At shelter on Hart Dr. Barrie)Gaston (At shelter on Hart Dr. Barrie) - Black and White, 1 to 5 years, Short hair, male
Gaston is a sweet and shy 2 year old boy who has been steadily coming out of his shell and learning to accept petting and loving - When he first arrived at our door after he was rescued from a high kill shelter in Montreal, he was very unsure of people... No doubt this black and white beauty had a hard past. Gaston can still find himself a little overwhelmed and will back up if you come at him too quickly or too loudly, but all he requires is a gentle touch and some patience before that little purr of his gets going (and he really does love is chin and neck rubbed, he will push in to you for more!). He definitely wants attention and has even learned how to sneak in out of the corner of your eye and wait for you to notice him! We are sure that once he finds somebody who sees all of his special qualities, he will blossom even more in a home!
Skrinkle (at shelter on Hart Dr., Barrie)Skrinkle (at shelter on Hart Dr., Barrie) - Grey, 1 to 5 years, Short hair, male
Skrinkle is a 4 3/4 year old stray who was brought in to us, but whose owners were found before he was adopted out. Sadly, his owners surrendered him to us several months later because he was having a problem consistently using his litter box. We had him checked, and the poor boy had crystals. Skrinkle was put on a urinary kibble and, when he was checked this week, there were NO CRYSTALS. Skrinkle has been faithfully using a covered litter box for at least a month now, so . . . Skrinkle is 100% ready to be adopted! He is such a darling. Skrinkle is sweet-tempered and gentle. He flips onto his back so that you will rub his belly. He just doesn't like you massaging his declawed front paws - he nips - or picking him up. When he was out as a stray for several months, he was beaten up and, due to a bad tail injury, one of his vertebrae is raised. As long as his tail isn't pulled and he is given Glucosamine daily, our vet assures us that he will be fine. Let's give this big boy a quiet home with no other pets or young chilren, ok?
