Molly
I adopted Molly (right) from your shelter a few days ago and thought you might enjoy a bit of a progress report. Molly is doing very well in her new home, showing a very good appetite for such a petite girl, and also fortunately showing very good litter box manners. She has been a little bundle of joy, tearing around the house with her favourite piece of string in tow when she wants to play, and sleeping soundly in my arms when she doesn't.
The only issue has been with my other much larger cat, Silverado (left), who was quite aggressive towards Molly at first. But as you can see by the picture, that too is improving and I am sure they will be sleeping and playing together soon. Just before this photo was taken Molly had swatted Silverado for no particular reason, and he just took it in stride.
I will send further updates as Molly grows into her new home.
Cheers,
Ken
Update April 1, 2011
As an update to my last note, Molly and Silverado are now getting along famously, with Molly helping Silverado recover from a recent surgery and also helping him to lose some weight (almost a pound so far) with her infectious playfulness. Even while recovering from surgery Silverado is starting to display playfulness and athleticism he has never shown before. So all in all Molly has been a blessing to this little family!
