Precious/Bean

My husband and I adopted a little cat named 'Precious' some time before Christmas. We had just lost our 14 year old cat Elmo about 6 months before and I wasn't sure I was ready for another fur just yet. However, my husband fell in love with 'Precious' (her name is Bean now), and so I agreed to bring her home for a weekend to see how she got along with Buckley (our 6 year old Himalayan). Bean has claws, and Buckley doesn't...I wasn't sure how that would all work out. As you can see from the pictures....THEY LOVE EACH OTHER!! :) 


They eat together, sleep side by side, and they even spend time outside together on their individual leashes (with tags....just in case), although they are only allowed outside on their leases with supervision!! Bean has such a good nature, is so affectionate, and LOVES to talk...ALL THE TIME!! She purrs constantly, and loves to be with us no matter what we are doing. Buckley and Bean are the best of friends, and often play tag, or whatever the cat equivalent for tag is...it's the funniest thing ever. 

I'm so pleased that Bean has a home, apparently she was pregnant and a pound was going to put her to sleep before Furry Friends saved her...I can't imagine that!!, and I'm so glad Buckley has a friend.
