Nine Furry Friends volunteers receive Ontario Volunteer Service Awards
Furry Friends is pleased to announce that nine volunteers are receiving the prestigious Ontario Volunteer Service Awards. The Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration honours volunteers who have given at least five years of continuous service to non-profit organizations. We're pleased to recognize Edye Haughton, Verena Kompp Valerie Hewitt, Kathy Hankinson for the 5+ year commitment to our cause PLUS Lee Wheeler for her 20 year commitment! In addition, we're thrilled to honour our youth volunteers Nicholas DaSilva, Danielle Hall and Jordan Clausi for 2+ years of dedicated service. Volunteers are the heart of Furry Friends and we thank these amazing volunteers for their tremendous contributions to the care of abandoned and abused cats and kittens in our community. Congratulations!
